Centro Tecnológico del Mar -Fundación CETMAR: Coordinating Beneficiary.

CETMAR is a Foundation promoted by the Galician Government (Department of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs and General Directorate of Research and Development) and the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. It aims to contribute to improve the conditions for the sustainable development of marine resources, and in this context, the efficiency of the sectors of fishing, aquaculture, fish processing industry and all those activities directly or indirectly related to the use and exploitation of the sea and its resources. It is a key link to achieve a greater degree of inter-institutional cooperation and interdisciplinary integration of the R+D+i available resources among the fishing sector, research and public authorities

Portos de Galicia: Associated Beneficiary.

Ports of Galicia (Galician Department for Spatial Planning, Public Works and Transport) is a public body in charge of the administration of 122 ports and port facilities in Galician coast. Fishing and aquaculture activites take place here, which might be considered as the major stakeholders and users of these services. Comercial and nautical sports activities also take place in these ports and, in many cases, are increasingly becoming the main activities, representing an important economic sector. Ports of Galicia carries out the management, maintenance, economic running and development of the ports under Galician competence.

Autoridade portuaria de Marín e Ría de Pontevedra: Associated Beneficiary.

Port of Marín (depending on State Ports – Spanish Ministry of Public Works) is a key logistics centre in terms of comercial and fishing activities, both at Galician and Spanish level. Different activities are developed around and for vessels and fisheries services. Among those, the following can be emphasized: fish market, departments of exporters and ship-owners, plants and clotheslines for the assembly and repair of nets, ice plants, net makers, docks for repairing, shipyards, departments of workshops, refrigerators for frozen fish, facilities for fishing derivates, etc. Only a few ports have such a diverse and competitive range of services available to a sector within a port compound.

Universidade da Coruña (UDC) - Grupo de Polímeros: Associated Beneficiary.

The University of A Coruña counts on campuses in the Galician cities of A Coruña and Ferrol composed of several faculties. This research group belonging to the Chemistry Faculty is currently working in the field of plastics and related materials and its activitites are carried out in the LabPlast, laboratory belonging to the Centro de Investigacións Tecnolóxicas de Ferrol (Technological Research Center in Ferrol). Labplast tasks are, among others, providing sector with R+D+i adapted to their specific needs, technical consultancy, training stages, developing and applying of new technologies and products, etc.

LEITAT Technological Center: Associated Beneficiary.

LEITAT is a Technological Center based in Tarrasa (Barcelona), which focuses on R+D+i addressed to help companies and services to adapt to market constant changes. It provides companies with several technical and consulting services adapted to nowadays industrial necessities. Through its maritime departament (LEIMAR), LEITAT is promoting R+D+i within the sector, improving competitivity this way.  
At the present the center is developing its activities in three main areas: Testing, R+D+i and innovation promotion.

Plastimar is a poliexpan-based (EPS) products industry located in Peniche (Leiria –Portugal), as the Portuguese branch of the Dutch group Synbra. It comprises the following means and main production areas:
- Production of blocks and products of cut in Peniche. This unit, completely automated, is considered as belonging to the most advanced technological level of our time.
